1. Collins, Wanda L. (Principal Investigator). Living Beyond Breast Cancer – Funded by Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (April 2006 - March 2013) .

Goal of project: This grant funds a support group for African American women diagnosed with all types of breast cancer. The support group was formed for breast cancer survivors living in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The group meets once a month for two hours to discuss stressors and spiritual strengths, as well as, feelings, beliefs, attitudes, and coping strategies that will help participants to live beyond breast cancer.
