Greetings from Walnut Grove School Council,
We the parents elected to the Walnut Grove School Council just want to introduce ourselves and invite you to join us as we work with the Principal, Teachers and Peel Board to create the kind of school we all want for all our children.
The Walnut Grove School Council wants to thank all the parents that came forward and ran for the positions on the School Council. We want to thank all the parents that came out to vote. We want to let you know that we still need your support, input, participation to help us be the best School Council we can be and we cannot do it alone. Thanks again for your support, enthusiasm and your interest in making our school the best it can be for our children.
Your work is not done; we are looking for parents’ ideas and input for everything from fundraising to activities to volunteering at school and Parent Council events. We’ve had our first meeting and our next meeting is coming up on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 6:30 pm to 7:30pm at Walnut Grove School. We look forward to seeing you there.
In the mean time, we would like you to email us with your ideas and thought on things you would like to see happen for your children at Walnut Grove. We would like to know what skills, talents, businesses or anything you have and will be willing to give, offer and support in fundraising or contributing to helping the Parent Council as we develop and plan events for the coming year and the move to our new and permanent school.
We will be launching our web page on the school web site visit us on the School Council tab.
Also our email address is you can contact any of your School Council team members, anytime. Feel free to send ideas or offers that may be helpful for the school or fundraising.
Again the work is just started, we need your input, ideas, skills, or anything that can be used to help make Walnut Grove the kind of school we want for all our Children.
