There is so much to do in Liverpool that we have decided for this Art Bus that there will be one drop off point outside the Walker Art Gallery. The list of possible suggestions of places to visit are all within about twenty minutes walking distance including: Tate Liverpool, Albert Docks, Maritime Museum/Slavery exhibition, two magnificent Cathedrals, two Museums, China town and city centre shopping.
The Walker Gallery has a major exhibition ‘Beauty and Rebellion’ featuring work by Rossetti, Millais and Holman Hunt. With more than 120 paintings which highlight Liverpool’s significant role in the Pre-Raphaelite movement. There is a charge for this exhibition, Adults £7, Concession £5 (Students under 18 are free). you are advised to pre book through the Walker Gallery
Cost for the Arts Bus: £10 per person. The Arts Bus is organised on a non-profit making basis to take anyone either connected with the school or from the local community to venues around the country.
