Declaration

  1. The owner has examined stock and seen no signs of foot and mouth disease or other notifiable disease
  2. The stock comes from a premises which has had no movement of foot and mouth susceptible animals onto it in the previous 6 days (other than permitted exceptions)
  3. The Movement complies with the relevant general licence
  4. I hereby declare that I am the owner / owners agent of the animal (s) below and that to the best of my knowledge, the particulars shown on this form are true and complete
  5. Vehicle has been fully cleansed & disinfected prior to loading of stock.
  6. Voyce Pullin Markets Ltd as auctioneers at Cirencester Market acts as principals in all financial transactions. Sale proceeds are not paid into a Client bank account and consequently the RICS Client money protection Scheme (CMPS) will not apply to protect the Vendor.

Markets for Sheep are every Thursday – These Markets operate as “GREEN” Markets

This means sheep can come from any holding but the 6 day rule does apply.

Please ensure that all Sheep are accompanied with the correct paperwork

  • All sheep MUST be accompanied with a ARAMS1 Sheep license.
  • All Sheep MUST be correctly ear tagged.
  • Lambs under 12months and intended for Slaughter can have a Slaughter EID tag or Full EID tags
  • Lambs / Hoggetts intended for Breeding or Breeding ewes MUST have Full EID tags.
  • Cull ewes MUST have Full EID tags.

Guidance on Food Chain Information for Sheep

  • The person providing the FCI must have the enough knowledge of the sheep to provide accurate FCI. Contact details enable further information to be obtained if necessary.
  • Veterinary surgeon responsible for the holding to enable the slaughterhouse operator or OV to obtain further information about the animals and any treatment they may have received, if necessary.
  • Withdrawal periods Information to ensure that animals within a withdrawal period are not submitted for slaughter for human consumption.
  • Information about abnormalities, (e.g. lameness, injury) would previously have been provided as specific FCI, or as a Schedule 18 declaration under earlier legislation.
  • Record information about possible exposure to feed or environmental contaminants

Bio-Security

  • All livestock vehicles exiting the market should do so through the automated wheel wash.
