Volunteering at Norwich Pride
Thank you for enquiring about volunteering at Norwich Pride. In the words of Harvey Milk, we want to recruit you! Norwich Pride is run by a collective of friendly, enthusiastic volunteers. There are several levels at which you can volunteer.
The Pride Collective meets every month and includes people responsible for key areas of making Pride happen: the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Planning Officer, Treasurer, Press, Print, Web, Photography, Main Stage Events, Chapelfield Picnic Events, Stalls, Accessibility Champion and Arts Exhibition.
Volunteers offering Professional Services: These are people who want to donate their professional services to Pride but don’t want to attend meetings and help run the Collective. These are for example Graphic Designers, Head Stewards, Decorators and Artists.
Volunteers on the Day of Pride: These are people who want to help on the day with jobs like Steward, Pride Shop Assistant (Forum, Chapelfield), Help Desk, Workshop Assistant, Stalls Supporter, Stage Manager, Performer, Photographer, Kids Entertainer, Facepainter, Raffle-ticket-seller, Raffle-ticket-folder!
Pride Projects: We have had several “Pride babies” – groups of volunteers that have grown out of Norwich Pride and meet all year round. These include Pride Live! our radio show on Future Radio 107.8fm, Sew Gay, Sing with Pride, OUT140, Queer Art Club and Proud Canaries. .
So there are loads of ways that you can get involved. If you are interested in volunteering, fill in your contact details below and email them to
