Community Service Requirement
Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (TLT)
TLT students are required to perform 8 volunteer hours between now and January 8, 2017. These are to be additional hours – you may not count hours completed for a school’s community service requirement toward these TLT hours – and we encourage you to explore a new volunteer role. Your hours can be done in shifts (i.e., two 4-hour days).
At orientation, you have the chance to sign-up to volunteer at specific Boys & GirlsClubs of Central Sonoma County. If you know of another volunteer agency, non-profit or program that needs volunteers, let your TLT Director know and s/he will determine if it meets the requirements!
If you sign-up with a Boys & Girls Club at orientation, you will have the opportunity to sign-up for specific time slots at Human Services Day. If you do not sign-up with a Boys & Girls Club, you are responsible for contacting the organization and scheduling your time at that location.
BEFORE you start, and not later than Friday, November 17, let your TLT Director know where you would like to perform your service, by filling out the survey that will be sent out via email.
Wear your TLT shirt when doing your hours and remember you are representing TLT as well as your school when you are at the agency.
Fill-out the form on the back of this page and have the supervisor at your volunteer site sign the bottom. Return this form on Health Care Day.
You will be asked to complete a follow-up survey sent to you via email about your volunteer experience. This is due online by January 8th.

Tomorrow’s Leaders Today (TLT) is a leadership development, career exploration and community engagement program, primarily for high school juniors.
TLT students are required to perform 8 volunteer hours between now and January 7, 2018. These are to be additional hours – not hours they already count toward completion of the community service requirement for a school or other organization – and we encourage students to explore a new volunteer role.
When the student’s hours are completed, please complete and sign this form, and return it to the student so they can turn it in to TLT.
