Agency: Community College System

Project: Funds approved to finance the design of the Phase 2 improvements to TunxisCommunity College in Farmington (Project Number: BI-CTC-426). This project consists of renovations to 34,000 square feet of the existing “300 Building” and construction of a new 20,000 square foot building to house administrative and faculty space in accordance with the college’s facilities master plan

S.A. 04-2, Sec. 2(j)(3) $2,221,622.

Agency: Community College System

Project: Funds approved to finance alterations and improvements at various community colleges (BI-CTC-9000). Work includes the demolition of the NorthBuilding at NorthwesternConnecticutCommunity College in Winsted, and emergency / minor capital projects at community colleges as needed.

S.A. 05-1, Sec. 21(j)(1)(C ) $673,750.

Agency: Department of Education

Project: Funds approved to finance alterations and improvements at various technical high schools (BI-RT-1000). Work includes fire code, plumbing, electrical and PA system improvements in Ansonia; HVAC improvements in Groton, Meriden, Torrington and Willimantic, with restroom improvements also in Willimantic; plumbing improvements in Middletown; fire code improvements in Milford; plumbing, ventilation and floor improvements in Stamford; and emergency / minor capital projects at needed.

Work includes designs for roof work at 18-20 Trinity Street and 505 Hudson Street in Hartford and at 9 Windsor Avenue in Windsor; the design for an elevator replacement at 200 Folly Brook Boulevard in Wethersfield; a roof replacement at the Campbell Building at Uncas Campus in Norwich; demolition of a water tower at the Altobello Campus in Meriden; and emergency / minor capital projects at needed.
