Visbion Signs Agreement with Hitachi Data Systems
Chertsey, UK 1 June 2013, Visbion, a leader in standards-based image management solutions, today announced that it is partnering with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) to provide the next generation of Vendor Neutral Archiving (VNA) solutions to the UK healthcare community.
Under the agreement Visbion joins the Hitachi Data Systems TrueNorth Channel Partner Programme which allows Visbion to sell the full range of Hitachi Data Systems products including the innovative Hitachi Clinical Repository (HCR) in the UK, in addition to its own leading-edge image storage, transmission and viewing solutions
Working together withHitachi Data Systems and Avnet, a TrueNorth Partner Distributor, Visbion has added the Hitachi Clinical Repository to the growing list of products and services it supplies directly to the UK healthcare marketand via the NHS Supply Chain Framework Agreement.
The Hitachi Clinical Repository (HCR) provides a single online repository that enables protection, search and retrieval across all healthcare data and image content. It leverages Hitachi storage capabilities for high availability, performance and multi-petabyte scalability and Visbion's proven image archiving software for image storage and retrieval.
