Objective

The students will produce a Persuasive Flyer of the “Best Place to Live” using the Microsoft Word and the basic elements of the Design Cycle.

Materials

1 sheet of paper, pen or pencil.

(Investigation) / ·  Research a place that you believe or what you found in your research to be the best place to live.
·  Place the website addresses you used on the bottom of your flyer when creating in word.
·  Provide all Internet sources you used for
o  Images.

o  Research etc.

Flyer Sketch
(Planning)
x2 / ·  As a design team, sketch on paper how your flyer will look like. Must have the following present on flyer:
o  Title (Best Place to Live)
o  Your Names
o  Period or hour with color
o  Name of the place you chose
o  Boxes where possible pictures can go
o  Description of place
o  5 reasons why your city is the best place to live.
o  Additional things are optional

o  Google Images or clipart
o  Text color

o  Use of any other creative tools on Word to make your flyer presentable.

Presentation
(Evaluation) / ·  Once your flyer is completed, you must print it to a “PDF” to use for your presentation.
