VIP launches World’s First ATI Radeon TM HD 3870X2
Dual Core Graphics Card from ASUS!
VIP Computer Centre Ltd (VIP), the UK’s leading independent distributor of computer components and peripherals, today announced the launch of the world’s first graphics card featuring dual ATI Radeon 3870X2 GPUs, from manufacturer ASUS.
Packing 1GB of the fastest DDR3 memory clocked at 1.8GHz, the ASUS EAH3870X2/G/HTDI/1G is now the fastest desktop graphics accelerator on the market and offers the ultimate high definition gaming experience. The card’s unique combination of ultra fast, high capacity memory allows it to process the most complex graphics without delay at the highest resolution and quality settings for maximum visual realism. Bundled with one of the hottest DX10 games on the market: Company of Heroes – Opposing Fronts, gamers can take immediate advantage of the card’s immense graphics processing power.
With its ATI Radeon 3870X2 core running at 825MHz, the card is DirectX® 10.1 compatible, features full support for HDCP high definition video output and has two additional DVI outputs allowing video to be displayed on up to four monitors at once. Dual fan sinks ensure efficient heat dissipation from the cores, resulting in increased reliability and system stability to maximise its overclocking potential.
