Position Overview:

This person will be serve as the Victim Services Coordinator for the Treehouse Trauma Recovery Center. The Treehouse Trauma Recovery Center provides community-based, trauma-informed services for underserved children, adolescents, and families exposed to family violence and domestic violence using evidence-based models that facilitate and enhance the recovery process. program. This is a 40 hour per week position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Deliver clinical services to underserved victims as part of the team, including assessments, case management/navigation, individual therapy, or group therapy as needed based on client demand. (70% of time)
  2. Plan, coordinate, and deliver quarterly victim outreach events/activities that provide services that can assist in identifying victims and linking them to services (20%)
  3. Participate in project team and community meetings that improve victim responses (5%)
  4. Attend all project team meetings, including supervision, as part of the Treehouse project team (5%)
  5. Maintain confidentiality of records and comply with all policies and procedures related to client care, including HIPAA and agency-specific regulations
  6. Other duties as assigned

Supervisory: This position is supervised by Clinical Team Leader for the Treehouse Trauma Recovery Program.

Personal Qualities: Experience providing trauma-specific behavioral health services, ability to work in a clinical team setting, strong ability to multi-task on multi-component projects, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, must be dependable and accountable with a passion to serve the community

Position Structure: 40 hours per week

Travel: Local travel for project team meetings (reimbursed if outside of Greensboro) and some services may be provided offsite

Salary: Salary commensurate upon experience.

Qualifications:Masters in behavioral health field, licensed (associate-level) to provide services in the state of North Carolina. Preferred experience providing trauma-specific services and/or knowledge of trauma and traumatic stress, ability to work in interdisciplinary teams, evidence of coordination of complex cases, experience working with diverse populations, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
