VERNON OLDTIMERS SOCCER TOURNAMENT2015 RULES & REGULATIONS
1. You may update your roster at MacDonald Park prior to your first game.
2. ELIGIBILITY: All players must be of the minimum age for their division within this calendar year and have picture ID upon request only. * The only exception will be the Men’s 60+ division which will be allowed to have 4 players aged 55 – 59 years on the roster. Only 2 players of this age allowed to play on the field at one time (included goalie)
3. Players may only play for one team in any one division. A player may play on a team in a younger division provided they are registered on both rosters.
4. There will be no overtime or penalty shots in round robin games. FINAL games on Monday will go straight to penalty shots. All games will be 35-minute halves.
5. There will be a maximum of 10 points awarded for each round robin game.
6 points for a win, +1 point / goal by either team to a maximum of 3
3 points are awarded in tied games, + 1 point / goal by either team.
1 point is awarded for a shutout. For a 0-0 score no points are given for the shutout.
Example (3 – 0) = 10 points.
For tie breaking purposes only, plus 5 goals per game is the maximum spread.
6. “ZERO TOLERANCE” for alcohol will be enforced outside of the beer garden. We have made every attempt to provide a safe, fun and inexpensive beer garden at Macdonald Park. Consuming alcohol outside of the beer garden is illegal. All referees and tournament officials will be monitoring all fields. If alcohol is openly displayed on the sidelines at any of the fields the game will be stopped until it is disposed of.

7. The Regional District is enforcing its ‘NO DOGS ALLOWED IN PARKS’ bylaw. People have brought their pets in the past so please be aware that the enforcement officers will be patrolling the parks that we are playing at.
