GUIDELINE
Attention to all students from Faculty of Information Management. We are glad to announce that we are organizing the Young Brainer Awards 2017, an innovation competition which is open to all students from Faculty of Information Management, UiTM from all branches. The program will be held on:

OBJECTIVES
1. To display invention, innovation, design and research from students that can be commercialized for industry benefit.
2. To develop invention and innovation culture through the sharing of expertise as well as commercialized, creative and innovative ideas.
3. To instill interest and encouragement among the students towards invention and innovation that plays a role as a medium for the nation’s development.

CONDITIONS
1. Entry is open to ALL students from Faculty of Information Management, UiTM from all branches.
2. Team of 6 persons maximum including supervisor per group.
3. Participants are required to provide models/ products / prototypes / sample / presentation / illustration in the form that is easily understood by a panel of judges and other visitors.
4. Each entry must be provided in the form of exhibit posters (bunting – type please refer sample) to represent the product or invention respectively.
5. Preferred language – English or Bahasa Melayu
6. Content must be measures 2′ x 6′ feet.
7. Others things that be included on the bunting are abstract, objectives, novelty, usefulness, commercialization potential and awards. Please refer to the appendix for a description of each content reference entries for participants.
8. Participants are encouraged to provide additional materials to posters such as brochures, pictures, certificates of appreciation or other materials in support of research and design respectively.
9. Booth (1.5m x 1.5m), table (1 unit), chairs (2 units) and a source of electricity provided by the organizers.
10. The organizer has provides internet access throughout the competition but participants are encouraged to bring their own broadband for accessing data or any information.
11. Participants are encouraged to bring a cable connector (extension cable) on your own.
12. The organizer reserves the right to reject any application for participation in the event of falsification of information.
13. All decisions of the competition are final and no correspondence will be entertained.
14. Only ONE PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE will be provided for each group.
