ISA’s National Prep/Junior Judo Competition
Date: Saturday 21st March 2015
Venue: Oakhyrst Grange School, Stanstead Road, Caterham, CR3 6AF
Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm

School years’ 3 – 8
All Judo grades
Weight Groups:
Players will be placed where possible under the following categories. Player’s actual weight MUST be supplied in kilos as there will be no weigh-in on the day and should numbers be insufficient, players will be placed accordingly.
Girls: U24kg, U28kg, U32kg, U36kg, U40kg, U44kg, U48kg, U52kg, U57kg, U63kg, O63kg
Boys: U24kg, U27kg, U30kg, U34kg, U38kg, U42kg, U46kg, U50kg, U55kg, U60kg, O60kg
Combined groups of boys and girls maybe devised
Structure of the Competition:
Pools of 3 – 6 players will compete in 3 minute contests. There will be NO weigh in on the day. Players will be placed where possible in groups according to weight, age and grade.
Equipment:
All players are expected to wear a clean and regulatory lengthwhite or blue judogi (judo suit)
Entry Fee:
FREE
Medals:
Pools of 3 will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals
Pools of 4, 5 or 6 will be awarded Gold, Silver and 2 Bronze medals
Refreshments:
Light refreshments will be available on the day.
In the event of this competition being oversubscribed; we will review the entries and ensure each school has a fair number of competitors. Maximum number of competitors for the event is 100.
