The contribution at NSC19 did indicate (1) that there could be significance in getting electrostatic attraction/repulsion by placing electron charge at various points for the two hydrogen atom of Hydrogen molecule and looking for bond formation and M.O. shape characteristics. To know whether it would be worthwhile to proceed further, it seemed necessary to study the criteria for “quantization” and discreteness of orbital energy for the case of Hydrogen atom enunciated by Bohr, for the atomic model and the limited success in explain the spectroscopic data. The present report is to highlight what approach could better reveal the required clarification on the electrostatic field propagation and the movement of electron itself within the atom. In the Bohr model of the atom the discrete energy has been the result of demanding that the angular momentum is quantized, and not a derived result. Hence the Wave equation and Schrodinger Formalism followed.

As noted from Fig.1 (2) and the excerpt, the statistical interpretation (of Born) for probability density/charge cloud depiction means one and the same electron quickly moves (fast moving with atto second range speed) from place to place all over the volume in the region. While it is quick, it should be implicit that at no time the electron can be present at more than one position. Thus there is no possibility of any fraction of charge being present at two places. No consequences for calculating electrostatic interactions.

If there is anything of the type of “ψ – field” would there be any such consequence hat when electron is present in one place, the electrostatic field gets pervasively generated and while this field is propagating electron moves to another place to experience the field generated in another place sometime before. This sounds to be a strange phenomena to think of the nature of the “ψ – field” and a way to account for its existence by a strange consequence.
