DORNEY PARK and WILDWATER KINGDOM
Dear Parents:
The 8th grade is planning our annual trip to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. Transportation will be by school bus with their 8th grade core teachers and other VFMS teachers chaperoning the trip. Here are the specifics:
Date: Monday, June 12, 2017
Time: 8:15 – 4:15 (Please pick up your child in the VFMS MAIN parking lot at 4:15)
Cost: $35.00 (if writing a check, please make payable to Valley Forge Middle School)
Due: Monday, May 1st (to your child’s ENGLISH teacher)
The cost of the trip includes amusement and water park admission, so a towel and sunscreen are recommended. Lunch is on their own.
If the cost of this trip should present a financial hardship, please contact Dr. Jacqui Rothera, vice-principal, in writing prior to May 1st. This deadline date is important in order to secure group-rate tickets.

Permission Form for One Day Field Trips
My child, ______, grade 8, homeroom ______, has my permission to participate in the field trip to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, Allentown, PA, on Monday, June 12th , 2017.
In granting this permission, I understand that my child is required to abide by all VFMS school and Tredyffrin/Easttown School District codes of conduct as a condition for participation in this field trip. I have discussed these rules with my child and represent that she/he agrees. Tredyffrin/Easttown School District will not be responsible for monetary deposits lost due to the cancellation of this trip for any reason.
