Schedule:

8:45 to 9:00 am – registration – foyer of auditorium (guidepost & general store), then sit with age groups in auditorium (inside a wagon)

9 to 9:20 am1) singing, 2)singing, 3)skit – Auditorium

9:20 to 10:00 am – Bible classes in classrooms listed (trailblazer training)

10:00 to 10:15 – restroom, snack break in MPB (Grove Goodies)

10:15 to 11:35 – rotations between craft, games, lesson review/memory verse w/skit characters, and back to classroom(see schedule below)

11:35 – 11:45 1)singing, 2)more singing, 3)lesson wrap-up and invite for next day– Auditorium.

NOTE: on Friday at this time, teachers will give out certificates and some sort of VBS award for your class. Also, each rotation should have a few prizes to give out here.

11:45 to noon – lunch in MPB

Teachers/helpers – please rotate with your students to assist with game, snack, craft, lunch

There is only 4 days of VBS but 5 lessons – skit will omit 3, but if you can fit all lessons in, please do so!

If you are not a teacher/helper, see if you can assist in a classroom (depends on how many kids we have)

Start decorating and setting up your classrooms anytime.

Each child will have a take-home bag for you to put items into each day. Keep these in your classrooms until Friday.

All other teachers/helpers – dress like a pioneer.

Try to learn and use the pioneer lingo as much as we can – will make it fun for kids wagons, campfires, hard work, coonskin caps, bonnets, aprons, buckskin clothes, lanterns, little house on the prairie, log cabins, starry nights, coyotes & other animal predators, hunting for & growing your own food, westward expansion, land rush, trees
