The new Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education degree will now feature a choice of three education majors – Primary Education, Secondary Education, and K-12 Education.
Macquarie University: New Science and Engineering Scholarships
Macquarie is offering new scholarships to help aspiring science, engineering, and IT students get started on their journey. In 2016 Macquarie University will be offering the new academic scholarships in the following courses:
- Bachelor of Medical Sciences
- Bachelor of Marine Science
- Bachelor of Information Technology – Games Design and Development
- Bachelor of Environment
- Bachelor of Advanced Science
Macquarie University: Telecommunications Engineering Optus Cadetships
Students who enrol in Macquarie's Bachelor of Engineering program and major in Telecommunications Engineering have the opportunity to apply for one of 10 Optus cadetship positions on offer at the telco's headquarters in nearby Macquarie Park.
Macquarie University: Academic Entry
Macquarie University’s Academic Entry Program offers students early entry by matching their performance in individual HSC subjects against their preferred degree. All Year 12 students who are completing their HSC and have applied for a Macquarie University degree through UAC are eligible.

University of Newcastle: Educational Access Scheme Applications Due

The Educational Access Scheme can be completed by students wishing to attend the University of Newcastle in 2016. These applications are completed via UAC’s website and close on the 6th of January 2016.

16th December 2015
HSC results will be available from 6am on Wednesday the 16th of December or by text. Results will also be able to be downloaded and printed on the 30th of December. For those who are eligible a testamur will also be posted on the 20th of January 2016.
