Request to Play from Out of State

USTA South Carolina Adult, Senior, Mixed Doubles, Super Senior and BMW Combo Doubles regulations require that a player desiring to play in South Carolina out of his/her home state (as defined by the player’s primary residence as listed in USTA records) must obtain approval by the Local League Coordinator in the affected Area and the State League Coordinator. The purpose of this rule is to assure that the formation of teams and competition among them are not adversely affected by the movement of players from outside South Carolina. To this end, the Local League Coordinator will ask players from another state desiring to play in South Carolina to complete this request form or will use the form to interview the player. The State League Coordinator will assure that the application process has been completed. The decision to grant or deny approval will be based on the circumstances and needs of the Local League involved, as well as state-level considerations, weighed against the desires and circumstances of the player.
