DESCRIPTIONCHLORATOX 40 PLUS CONCENTRATEis a non-selective herbicide for controlling a wide range of annual and perennial weeds and grasses on non-cropland areas such as railroad, highway and pipeline, rights-of-way, tank farms, lumber yards, storage areas and industrial sites. Use for brush control and control of woody plants, or as a broadcast treatment. Apply product before or during the period of active growth for plants treated, when rainfall is expected for soil activation. Product works through the soil and results will improve with dense vegetation removed before treatment. Effects are slow appearing, and may not be apparent until the chemical is carried into the root zone by moisture.

Hard to kill Perennial weeds and grasses: apply 8¾ to 18½ gallons per acre diluted with sufficient water to allow for uniform application. Where rainfall is below 4 inches a higher application is required. For re-treatment on sites where weed growth has been controlled, apply 2-4½ gallons per acre. Brush and woody plants: use on non cropland areas as a basal (soil) treatment, diluting 1 gallon to 5 gallons water and apply at the rate of 3-6 fluid ounces per stem 2” to 4” in basal diameter.
