Aftercare

Use your recoveral (liprotek for lips) or aquaphor liberally. You want to prevent the area from drying out which will cause substantial color loss. Do not exercise, swim or sweat for at least 4 days. Drink your daily amount recommended water. Do not exfoliate, Do not pick or scratch. Do not use Vaseline, bag balm, Neosporin, A&D, or chapsticks. Do not use glycolic, hydroxy or fruit acids (found in most moisturizers) retinol, or abrasive skin care products until your area has completely healed. 14 days after treatment.

Fading is part of the process. Pigment is as permanent as your skin, which sheds constantly. I cannot guarantee your unique outcome. It is recommended to schedule your touch up at 6 weeks. After 9 months, you will be required to pay a touch up fee of $125. Appointment times fills quickly, please plan to allow adequate time to use your free 6 week touch up. Exceptions will not be allowed. For the best time slots, it is recommended to pre-book your 6 week touch up during your initial appointment. A third touch up may incur a small product fee.

All areas heal in the same order; Too dark - Too light - Just right.This takes one monthto happen. Reserve judgement for day 20. Oxidation is part of the process and will make the area appear uneven, patchy or very dark. The first week you may feel as though the area needs corrected. This is a natural reaction to the temporary bold, dark color. It will lighten. After 25-35days, you can now critique the treated area and decide where to touch up, go darker or if they are just right.

Eyebrow After Care

Please apply recoveral or aquaphor, for10 days.Do notlet the brows get dry and crusty. Some swelling, redness or itching is normal and to be expected. Only apply ointment twice a day with a clean Q-tip. Only a small amount is needed for the eyebrow area. Keep clean and avoid sun, pools, direct water pressure. Do not pick or scratch the area. Brows will oxidize andget darker before they softenin healing. Healing process: too dark -too light- just right. This is normal! Do notwear any makeup for7 dayson brow area. Do not apply retinols, acids or hydration to area. Only recoveral or aquaphor. “Your brows will enter the room before you ”. They will start to lighten after day 7. After day 12-14 they will feel as though color is completely gone. It will return by day 20. This is the standard healing process. Reserve critique and judgement until day 20.

Eye Liner- After Care

Please apply recoveral liberally for 10 days. Eyes may be swollen and tender for a few days. This isnormaland will dissipate quickly. The area may become itchy, do not scratch. An ice pack protected with a wet barrier film of a paper towel can very nice. Pleasedo notice for more than 10 minutes a sitting. Icing is most effective, the first 24 hours. The most swelling is usually an issue the following morning after your procedure. You may soil your pillowcase with some residual pigment on eyes.
If you keep the treated area covered in recoveral they will not glue together over night
Avoidsun, pools, hot tubs and all creams around eye area. Please use anew tube of mascaraafter each procedure.Do not wear makeup for 7 days.

Lip Liner and Full Lip After Care

Lips will feel swollen andvery dryafter your treatment. Apply recoveral or lipotek on lips several times a day. This should be done for at least14 dayspost treatment.Do notallow lips to become dry. This may interfere with healed color. During the day if lips feel dry, apply a liberal amount of ointment. Justtapon skin and do not rub in. It is advised to sleep on an old pillowcase. There will be residual pigment coming off the lips for several days that can stain linens.
After lips are no longer tender to the touch they may become flaky. This is normal and is expected. Pleasedo notpick or scratch at them. This may significantly reduce the amount pigment uptake. Avoid the sun and tanning bedspre and postprocedure. Be sure to use a sun block once lips are healed. Do not use any Glycolic, Hydroxy or fruit acid products on lips. Avoid direct water pressure, pools and other bodies of water, until healed. Please be advised it is a good idea tobrush your teeth with just water for 72 hours, post treatment. You can resume wearing lipstick once lips are healed (20 days). It is advised to use a new lipstick after all lip treatments. Redness, swelling, tenderness, dryness are all common post treatment side effects and will dissipate in a short period of time. Avoid oily, salty, acidic foods and alcohol while healing.
Lips will need1 to 3 sessionsto complete the process of this procedure.Lips are unpredictable. Some clients will yield very strong healed lip color. Others will only heal with slight color uptake. This will vary on an individual basis. Clients with sun damage, scar tissue (from injury or fever blisters) and clients with implants may not have strong results.Hyperpigmentationcan happen on any lip client without warning. Fever Blisters are a known side effect of all lip procedures. Clients are asked to go to their doctor or dentist for an anti-viral medication prior to any lip procedure, to help avoid an outbreak. Follow all before and after instructions after all lip treatments.Lip retouch must be scheduled 45 to 60 days apartfrom initial season to help with color retention.Time slots fill quickly. Please pre-book your touch up to meet the 60 day free touch up qualifications. It is recommended to pre-book during your first appointment.

Touch up appointment requires $25 deposit that is refunded when client arrives on time to scheduled appointment. Client must allow 48 hour notice to reschedule appointment. Less than 48 hour notice is a forfeit of deposit and will require another deposit to book an appointment.
