Use and Restrictions for Duplication and
Distribution of AHDI Publication Content
AHDI receives frequent requests from authors, members, component leaders, and others in the industry to duplicate and/or distribute AHDI publication content such as articles and quizzes. All content contained in Plexus and Matrix is copyrighted to AHDI and cannot be duplicated and/or distributed without consent from AHDI and in most cases can only be duplicated and/or distributed if an individual or organization has paid for the right to do so.
Individuals, organizations, and components seeking permission to duplicate and share AHDI publication content can request and pay for a .pdf package for marketing and distribution purposes. The .pdf package includes:
· Copy of cover reflecting volume, issue, and date of original publication
· Original issue table of contents
· Full article as it was originally laid out in the publication, including graphics, sidebars, and callouts
· Copyright citation and information about AHDI membership for access to future publication content
Pricing
The following fee schedule reflects pricing associated with anticipated duplication and distribution volumes. Check one.
Free Authors of AHDI publication content may request a .pdf package at no cost but would be (a) restricted from duplication, and (b) limited to online distribution via website or blog posting only.
$50 Single distribution of 50 copies or less.
Example: Classroom use or component event distribution.
$125 Single distribution up to 500 copies.
Example: Marketing and advertising distribution for a single conference or large event.
$250 Unlimited duplication and distribution.
Example: Marketing and advertising distribution for multiple conferences or events over time.

Use and Restrictions
The following use and restrictions guidelines will apply to all requests to duplicate and/or distribute AHDI publication content:
1. Request for permission and fees paid per above will apply only to the article requested and will not constitute a blanket permission to use or distribute any other AHDI publication content without separate request and payment of fees.
2. The .pdf package agreement does not give the member user the right to copy and distribute the full issue .pdf provided to members in the AHDI Members Only area. Any attempt to copy and distribute that full-issue .pdf will constitute a violation of copyright.
3. The user agrees to publication and distribution of the full .pdf package with all contents. The user will not be permitted to extract just the article from the .pdf. The purpose of the .pdf package is to ensure that any individuals or organizations who access the duplicated material will have possess the relevant issue volume, date, and copyright information clearly attributable to AHDI.
4. Users may request and pay for additional .pdf packages, either of the same or different content, at any time.
