USCA Full Member Application

Process to become a Full Member:

1)Applicant completes USCA full member application and forwards to the Chair of the USCA Membership Committee (for current chair and contact information, please see USCA web site).

2)Chair of the USCA Membership Committee forwards to the current USCA President for review and discussion.

3)Before application is sent to the USCA for a vote, the USCA President (or other member of the executive board) will conduct an onsite visit which will include a meeting with the Center’s Dean and Department head as well as a tour of the Sales program facilities

4)After site visit is conducted, USCA President sends site report to Membership chair.

5)After site visit is completed, USCA Membership Chair forwards via email “case for membership” vote to all USCA full members. The Case will include all application materials and site visit report.

6)USCA Members vote: applicant sales program must receive affirmation from 75% of full members.

7)USCA Membership Chair confirms vote and communicates to USCA President. USCA President notifies applicant sales program director of outcome of vote.

8)After confirmation of acceptance the USCA Treasurer invoices the annual Full member dues (currently $600). USCA President contacts applicant to welcome applicant into USCA as a Full member.

9)Full Member must attend the USCA Board meetings held each Fall. Date and location to be announced. (There are biannual USCA Board meetings: spring (optional at rotating conferences) and fall (mandatory, held at USCA member locations on a rotating basis)).

  2. Having a “name” for their center (i.e., a named entity which includes some form of the word “sales”)
  1. Having a budget the is controlled and managed by the Sales Entity director
  1. A minimum of 3 sales faculty including 1 full time
  1. A minimum of 1 Ph.D. within sales program
  1. A dedicated Role play facility with recording capability
  1. A maximum of 30 students in entry level sales classes, maximum of 20 students in advanced classes
  1. A minimum of 2 levels of sales training offered (e.g., prerequisite and advanced class)
  1. A minimum of 3 sales courses offered (classes must be sales classes with obvious sales component)
  1. USCA Full members rules allow an applicant to fail to accomplish one of the requirements, as long as they exceed the basic requirements for other criteria. Do you fail to meet any criteria? If so, please address how you exceed other areas?
