US Figure Skating Basic Skills Program

Classes sessions are as follows:
After School Lessons: All lessons are 30 minutes in duration, Starting at either 4:30 or 5:00 depending on skater level/ability. On the first day of class only, all skaters should arrive at 4:15. The after school sessions run for 4 weeks on the following dates:
Oct. 7th - 8th, Oct. 14th - 15th, Oct. 21st – 22nd, Oct. 28th - 29th. (8 Week session.)
Saturday Sessions: All lessons are 30 minutes in duration, starting at 8:40 or 9:10 depending on skater level/ability. On the first day of class only, skaters please arrive at 8:30. All Saturday sessions run for 7 weeks and are as follow:.
Fall Session 08:Oct.11th, Oct. 18th, Oct. 25th, Nov. 1st, Nov. 8th, Nov. 15th, Nov. 22nd
Winter Session 1: Dec. 6th, Dec. 13th, Dec. 20th,Jan. 3rd, Jan. 10th, Jan. 17th, Jan. 24th
Winter Session 2: Jan. 31st, Feb. 7th, Feb. 14th, Feb 21st, Feb. 28th, March 7th, March 14th
Basic 1-4, Hockey Basic 1-4
These levels introduce the fundamental moves in Skating. Upon completion and competency of Basic 1-4 and Hockey Basic 1-4, skaters will be confident on the ice and ready to move to more advanced basics levels and Freeskate levels.
Basic 5-8/ Adult
These lessons are designed to give skaters a strong foundation on which to build spin positions, edges and single jumps.
Skaters should have successfully passed lower Basic levels or similar program.

Cost per Student is $85.00 + $7.50 for annual USFS fee (20 registration needed to run class)

1)No refunds or credits for missed classes will be honored for a future lesson period
2)A 10% bookkeeping fee will be charged for any cancellation with the exception of a class cancelled by the New Prague Area Community center due to low enrollment.
3)Students assume the risk of skating: In consideration of being allowed to use the NPACC and facilities incidental thereto, the participant hereby voluntarily assumes all risk of accident or damage to its property and to the person or property of the NPACC, their officers and employees from every claim, liability or demand of any kind for or on account of any personal injury of damage of any kind sustained, whether caused by the negligence of the NPACC, their officers or employees.
