Urgent and important stories...!

A new campaign for Looking After Each Other - A new Looking After Each Other campaign has been launched this week to encourage people to do more to help others. It will run for eight weeks up until Christmas – and give people ideas and suggestions for how they can make a difference in Nottingham. The campaign is being run by Nottingham City Council with Nottingham City NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service (NCVS). If we can encourage people to be more neighbourly and more community-focused, to be kinder and more thoughtful – to think about Looking After Each Other – then people will be able to help us to help others, especially those who are lonely or vulnerable. Our message is: ‘Help others feel good’. Primary Parliament has been involved in helping to develop ‘Kind Words’ that people can say to each other. And on #FeelgoodFriday (11 November) we are encouraging people to do a good deed for someone. Find out how your school can get involved at www.LookingAfterEachOther.co.uk
