Class Rules and Responsibilities:
1. Be on time for class. Get your music folder from the appropriate cabinet and sit in your assigned seat. Come to class with a pencil each day. Every musician should always have one!
2. Gum is not permitted in class.
3. TURN OFF CELL PHONES!! Off, not on silent or even airplane mode. Remove the temptation of wanting to look at it by turning it off and putting it away in class.
4. You are responsible for your music and will be charged accordingly if it is not returned at the end of each concert period. Obligations not met may result in graduation penalties.
5. Choir members are required to attend concert performances. Failure to attend a scheduled performance will negatively affect your grade. You are an important member of the team. Everyone is counting on YOU! Work is not an excuse. Mark you calendars now.
6. Attitude is everything. Come to class with a positive attitude and willingness to wok. Be respectful of the teacher, your peers, the room, the school property and of our goals for the class. “Practice makes permanence.” By practicing a positive attitude, good effort, self-discipline, focus and professional decorum, you will make them a permanent part of your life.
7. Have fun, but work hard. Why did you choose this class? Work beyond Miss Milovac’s expectations; the rewards will be great.
Grades will be determined through active class participation in all aspects of rehearsal activity, theory study, performance and evaluation. Grades may be based on the knowledge of the music rehearsed in class assessed by teacher observation and individual or group singing tests. Written tests and assignments may also be given. Concert attendance requirements must be met. Failure to attend a scheduled performance will negatively affect your grade.

Choral Booster membership fee: $15
Choir students may be asked to purchase a T-Shirt/Sweatshirt for their respective choir. Prices vary depending on styles and quantities purchased.
