Kip Greenhill Spirit Award
The Upper Arlington High School PTO is providing a $1,000 award, in Kip Greenhill’s name, to a senior who has been accepted to a post high school program. This scholarship is not based on academic achievement.
Former UAHS principal Kip Greenhill was known for his tremendous support of and involvement in the high school. His role was not only that of a leader but as a fan as well – attending almost all productions, sporting events and activities. This scholarship honors a student with the same qualities.
1. Applicants should carefully follow directions in completing this application form.
2. The PTO is looking for a student who:
Demonstrates the qualities of empathy and kindness
is a strong supporter of everyone and everything at the high school; and
has demonstrated leadership in spirit and service activities.
3. One personal letter of recommendation must accompany the application. This recommendation must be from a teacher, a coach, a supervisor, a minister or any other adult who has worked with you during your high school years and can comment on the characteristics listed above. Please ask your adult to use the enclosed recommendation form.
4. Please attach a list of school activities. Be sure and indicate the number of hours and years that you have been involved in each activity you list.
5. The application, student resume and letter of recommendation should be submitted to theCollege Center no later than FRIDAY, April 15, 2016
