UPDATED T&D GUIDELINES - "CORRECTION ADVICE(C/A)"

Other C/A / a.All other C/A should be fulfilled at least
THREE WORKING DAYS prior to vessel’s
arrival at destination port.
b.C/A details should be sent to the destination
with written notice.
c.For U.S.A and Canada bound cargo, please
follow separate guideline as per attached later.
Letter of indemnity should be collected before
C/A for essential elements. / a.All other C/A should be fulfilled at least

correction fee and penalties are on origin office,
which is by late C/A at origin.
b. Some of area customs do not permit any
correction. If origin needs to issue late C/A,
should contact destination office before issuing.

information(address/tel no./etc), check with
destination if there is any problem to release
cargo to proper consignee.
* If customer asks consignee change after old
consignee's import customs clearance or
3 working days prior to vessel arrival
at destination port, please follow below procedure.
[1] Destination Office should collect the old cnee's written agreement letter.
[2] Origin Office should get a approval of destination office before issuing C/A.
[3] Origin Office should collect LOI from the shipper. And the LOI should contain below 2 terms.
A. The shipper should bear all the cost(DEM/DET, Port Storage, Customs Fee....etc...) which occured by the Cnee amendment.
B. The shipper should takefull responsibility for the problem(like dispute between the old & new cnee) which
occured by the Cnee amendment.
[4] This guideline will not apply to Switch B/L cases.
c. Some of area customs do not permit any

should contact destination office before issuing.
