Digital Applications Support Apprentice
Based within the Talent Management Section of the Council’s HR and OD Team this vacancy is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in Business, Administration, Marketing or Human Resources and will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to support and assist the team to attract, retain and develop talented individuals for the organisation. This varied role will include a wide range of tasks, some of which include, supporting the council’s training centre, assisting in the facilitation of corporate training and participation in promotional activities as part of the council’s Growing Our Own scheme. In addition to a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills the successful candidate will be work towards a Diploma in Digital Applications Support (SCQF Level 6). This qualification, aims at providing the candidate with the necessary skills to be able to work within a digital environment. In a world where we rely on digital more and more this will be an essential qualification to kick start the career of any young person and will be useful in a number of different areas. In addition to the diploma, as part of their training the successful candidate will receive:
-Full PC Passport Training providing the young person with advanced Microsoft office skills at an advanced level
-Office systems training
-Creative Business skills ; provides an understanding on how to use image software, video software and graphic design tools
-Creative Content Skills; provides the basic knowledge surrounding website design and creating content for websites

Based within our communications team, this vacancy is a great opportunity for anyone interested in marketing, online communication, advertising or writing. The world of marketing and communication has changed, like all industries it is moving online. Digital Marketing focuses on utilising the internet, social media and phones to get the maximum impact and to reach as many people as possible with your message. This apprenticeship will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to learn the fundamental skills and techniques to build a career within Marketing. As part of the course you will learn everything from online advertising to measure the impact of your campaigns/actions.
