Institute forhistory in Sarajevo hasrecentlyredesigneditsJournal,HistoricalSearches. EditorialBoarddecidedthatthepublicationfromnow on willbepublishedexclusively in English language to presentresultsofhistoricalsciencefromBosniaandHerzegovinaabroad. ThenextnumberofHistoricalSearcheswillbededicated tocommemoratingthecentenaryofthedissolutionofthe Habsburg Empire. However, thisdate servesonly as a motive, ouraimis to exploretheconditionsandconsequencesof“regimechange” in BosniaandHerzegovina, in the past 150 years. Westrive to presentbothperilsandopportunitiesthatarisefromtheseevents. In thatattempt,wedidnot limitourselvesonly to politicalandmilitaryhistory but also to otheraspectssuch as sociologicalimpactofregimechange, it’seffect on Culturalheritage, Every-daylifeandotherareasthatwereimpactedbypoliticalandmilitaryactions in theobserved time period. Therefore, weaim to promotemultidisciplinaryapproach. Also, we are notlimited to BosniaandHerzegovina, we are eager to readaboutsimilarordifferentexperiencesfromothernationsin ourregion.
Post-graduatestudents, researchers, andotherrelatedandinterestedauthors are invited to joinusandexplorethisinterestingtheme. We are searchingforpapers in HistoricalSearches to be 5000-8000 words. Thepaperswillbeeditedandincluded in theHistoricalSearchesnr 17, andpublished in October 2018.
Textshouldbewritten in font size 12, with 1.5 linesspacing. Notes are footnotes, andnotendnotes. Bibliographyshouldbecontained in notes, to preservespace.
