Flow Cytometry Meeting 2017

Attendance

A good attendance again this year with 135 delegates, with representation from all 6 MI Universities as well as other local academic and commercial research scientists. Many delegates took advantage of the complimentary shuttle bus to and from East Midlands Parkway train station. There were talks and posters from all MI Universities. The meeting was self-funded with 14 sponsors this year.

For comparison the biennial National Flow Cytometry Meeting (FlowCytometry UK) this year had 100 delegates.

On the day

  • Morning session of proffered academic talks and flash poster presentations
  • Lunch, Posters, Exhibition.
  • Afternoon session of with parallel Workshops for Beginners or Advanced users provided by Commercial presenters.
  • Final Session Keynote Speech by Prof Graham Pockley and Poster Prizes
  • Networking Drinks
