University of Maryland, Baltimore County – Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County offers a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management within the Masters of Science in Emergency Health Services. The program is developed with a focus on preparing professionals for leadership roles requiring skill in planning, research, development, and organizational operations. Six courses are now being offered and 1 more will be added this coming academic year. All courses are delivered via web-based distance education, with weekly on-campus seminars for those students within driving distance. These seminars are also broadcast to enrolled students via Blackboard/Wimba.
