The Staff Recruitment Office seeks to appoint a Recruitment Administrator to provide a comprehensive, effective and professional ‘frontline’ recruitment service to clients by coordinating a number of key functions involved with the recruitment of UCT academics and support staff.

The main purpose of the position is to receive, coordinate and deliver high quality administrative support and assistance to applicants, UCT Recruitment Advisors and UCT Selection Committees.

Requirements

·  A national senior certificate ( NQF 4), preferably NQF level 5 or part qualification of NQF level 6 (120 credits)

·  At least 2 years administrative experience in an HR environment of a large/complex organization

·  Knowledge of recruitment & selection processes is desirable

·  Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel

Responsibilities

• Receive and process applications.

• Create electronic and manual files of applications and documentation pertaining to the vacancy.

• Liaise in a professional and timely manner to internal and external customers regarding the recruitment process.

• Request and follow up on referee reports for shortlisted candidates

• When needed, assist the Advisor with arranging candidate travel and accommodation requirements.

• Liaise with caterers

• Liaise with departmental administrators with regards to venues and additional technological requirements

• Coordinate multiple diaries and arrange meetings between selection committees and SRO advisors.

• Coordinate and support standard meetings between Recruitment Advisors and Selection Committee members.

• Assist with any other office ad hoc duties allocated from time to time

The annual cost of employment, including benefits, is between R203 905 and R239 896.
