- The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. by Dr. Deborah Floyd.
- Brief Announcements and Discussions
There were no announcements or issues discussed before the regular agenda.
Dr. Floyd asked that if there was time at the end of the meeting we would go over the
Governance document that Ron Nyhan wanted the committee to look over. The
meeting ran late and the committee didn’t have time to look over, and would be brought up at the next meeting.
- The minutes of the August 31, 2011 meeting were approved unanimously by the committee.

SYD 6517 –Seminar in Global Environmental Perspectives was unanimously approved.
SOW 6282 –Legislative Advocacy- was unanimously approved.
ENC 6258- Scientific Communication was tabled for syllabus changes, and consent from the English department.
PSY 6206L was unanimously approved with the addition of a memo from the Math department with their approval.
The Proposal- Proposed Innovation Entrepreneurship Certificate was unanimously approved with changes to be made to clarify what is required for the certificate program with bullet points.
ENT 6116, ENT 6428, ENT 6186, ACG 7646, ACG 7835, ACG7978, were unanimously approved.
TAX 6065 was unanimously approved, with a change to the wording going into the syllabus on the cover sheet.
ISM 6225, was unanimously approved with a change to Grading Percentage Breakdown.
ISM 6140 was unanimously approved, with the change in the paragraph after the grading scale.
ISM 6217 was tabled with corrections to be made to the syllabus, and eliminate one line in the description.
ISM 6123 was tabled because we had exceeded the time limit, and would be added to the agenda of the next GPC meeting.
- The committee adjourned at 4:20 pm.
- The next meeting will be November 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm
