NOTE: Some competitions may not be approved if an existing competition is to be held on the requested date in the same area.
Please make your check payable to USEDA and enclose it with your application.
USEDA requires event insurance and offers an INSURANCE PROGRAM and riders insurance. Event insurance is $110 one day, $220 for 2 days and $330 for 3 days. Rider accident insurance is available for $9.50 per rider if paid by 1/10/2013 for any USEDA sanctioned event attended from 1/1/2017 to 12/31/2017 provided the team is a USEDA member. Team must be a USEDA member and all riders on the team must buy as a group.
USEDA must be named additional insured on event insurance.
If your ride is insured through other means, proof of insurance is required and the USEDA and its Board must be listed as additional insured no less than 30 days prior to the event. Insurance information will be provided upon request and you pay the insurance carrier direct for the event insurance. Rider insurance is to be paid direct to the USEDA by member team. Number of riders X $9.50 covers at all USEDA sanctioned events for the entire year.
Once the USEDA sanctioning secretary has received the completed application, fee, insurance form and check, if applicable; you will receive a confirmation EMAIL () and the ride will be added to our USEDA calendar. Actual sanctioning will be tentative until judges and key management people have been established and application is completed.
Please send all ride information, to include flyer and entry form to the Sanctioning Secretary. The flyer you prepare for your ride can be published on our website in advance so that critical information is posted as soon as possible after your sanctioning is complete. ATTENTION: SHOW MANAGERS-Sanctioning requests must be received at least ninety (90) days prior to the requested date. USEDA Secretary must receive Results within 30 days after event has taken place. The amount of $100 for sanctioning and affiliate or full membership fees MUST ACCOMPANY this application form.
