Unit Summary
In this unit, learners will be introduced to beekeeping. Learners will identify how to work safely with bees, including how to remove a bee sting and demonstrate the use of personal protective clothing. Learners will also assemble a national bee hive and will identify the roles of different types of bees.
Unit Information
It is expected that before the unit is delivered, the tutor will have read the Qualification Specification to ensure all conditions regarding Rules of Combination, delivery, assessment and internal quality assurance are fulfilled.
