Unit 2 – Christian Mission “Set my people free”
Working alone, design a collage depicting a modern-day Exodus. You have to show the saving action of God in setting people free. Consider how today people need freedom, this will include literal and metaphorical slavery. Some images you might include in the collage are: people who are oppressed or suffering, landscapes symbolizing Egypt or “A Modern Promised Land,” a leader working for change (“a new Moses”), barriers to freedom, people living in goodness. You can use clip-art, newspaper stories, pictures, old magazines, etc., to assist with the assignment. Newspaper headlines could be used as captions.

Sample below done on computer, there are others in the classroom done by hand. The project may be done by hand or electronically. Work must include elements of symbolism and enough text to make the different aspects (slavery, barriers to freedom, prophets and Kingdom (heaven) clear.
