A strong response will:
- Discuss the political situation that led westerners to resent easterners, such as extortion by public officials and the poll tax, and
- Analyze the Regulator movement, the events leading to the Battle of Alamance, and the results of the battle.
Being able to answer the following questions as well as understanding the video may help you with your essay.
- In what specific way did eastern and western North Carolina differ?
