Unconference Proposal Planning Sheet

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the KSU Unconference - Online Learning at KSU. There are three different tracks to which you can submit your session idea. Full track descriptions can be found on the Unconference website (

  • Technology Session - 30 minutes. These sessions will focus on one way you have integrated a specific technology tool or solution into your online teaching. You should highlight innovative use of the tool or practice, what you have learned, examples from your course, and consideration for others (i.e. accessibility issues). The goal of this track is to share functional tools in a way that allows others to readily adopt them.
  • Lightning Talk - 2 minute dynamic talk + group sharing. You will deliver a 2 minute dynamic pitch of an interesting idea, strategy, or tool that you have employed in your course. After all pitches are complete, participants will spend two rounds asking questions and learning more from individual presenters. No technology will be used in this session.
  • Innovation Session - 30 minutes. These sessions provide a longer opportunity to share a strategy or interesting practice in your online course. It might be an engaging assignment, activity, or assessment. Preference will be given to sessions that have planned interaction. Think about what the participants will do during the session. Is there an opportunity for them to think about how a similar assignment would look in their course?

The following form is for planning out your presentation proposal. All responses will be recorded via the Google Form linked below, and will be reviewed in a blind review process by three unconference committee members.
