5 runs per dog, except Anysize.

Classes for Gundogs and ABG (Anything BUT a Gundog),

Small, Medium, Standard & Large heights.

One run for Anysize dogs.

Gun Dog Classification

Gun Dog entries are for pure bred gun dogs not crosses between different gun dog breeds.

ABG Classification

Is any dog other than a pure bred gun dog, for example collies, gun dog crosses, other breeds or crosses.

Each dog may only be entered in one level.

Qualifying date: include wins gained up to and including: 12th Dec 2008

Please note we have included a new height “Standard” which is an option for the smaller Large dogs. If you have a dog that meets the measurement for “Standard you can enter either the new height “Standard” or “KC large”

This class is open to dogs that are not entered in any class other than anysize.

Rosettes to 15% in all classes.
Trophies / Less then 5 dogs / No Trophy
6 to 50 dogs / 1st Place
51 and over / 1st and 2nd Place

Separate awards for Gundogs and ABG’s in each height as entries permit.

Clear round rosettes in all classes.

Gundog Agility Rules and Regulations

Please read all show rules carefully, as you agree to abide by them when signing the Declaration!

General Show:

1.  Gundog Agility reserves the right to refuse entries. Closing date 19th December 2008.

2.  Entries limited to 120 dogs plus Anysize. Fees £12.50 per dog (5 runs), £2.50 Anysize (1 run).

3.  Qualifying date - includes wins gained up to and including 12th December 2008 when deciding which level to enter. If your dog wins out after you have sent you entry, but before qualifying date, you must notify us of the change in your dogs’ level.

4.  No changes will be made to your entry after 19th December 2008.

5.  If the limit has been reached before the closing date, entries will be closed at an earlier date.

6.  Competitors must sign and date the declaration on the entry form. One form per handler.

7.  All dogs entered for competition at this show must be 18 months of age or over.

8.  Puppies under 3 months of age must not be brought to the show.

9.  Bitches in season are not allowed to compete at the show, or be mated at the venue.

10.  Height definitions as per page 2 of this Schedule. All dogs must be entered in their correct height.

11.  Competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are available for their classes.

12.  Handlers must not have with them in the ring any training aids such as toys or food.

13.  Marking of faults, including contacts, to be in line with Kennel Club rules. The judge's decision is final!

14.  Any person handling their own or any other dog in a harsh manner will be asked to leave the show.

15.  A dog will be removed from the competition if it is: so out of control that it poses a danger to people or dogs at the show; or suffering from an infectious or contagious disease, or otherwise unfit to compete.

16.  Judges may run their own dogs for competition when they are not scheduled for judging, and may allow another competitor to run their dogs whilst they are judging.

17.  Aljeana Baddley is the sole arbiter in respect of all matters and disputes at this event.

18.  In the unlikely event that the competition has to be cancelled, Gundog Agility reserves the right to deduct unrecoverable expenses incurred before returning entry fees.

19.  Handlers entered for competition are permitted to bring their non-competing dogs to the show. Any spectators must inform the show secretary beforehand if they intend to bring dogs to the show.

20.  All dogs are entered at their owner's risk. Whilst every care will be taken, Gundog Agility will not take responsibility for the loss, damage or injury to dogs, people or property whilst at this show.

21.  Competitors must follow the instructions of the Stewards with respect to parking and conduct within the show boundaries. Any person being abusive to our helpers will be asked to leave the show.

22.  Goods may not be sold at the venue without prior permission of the Gundog Agility.

23.  Rosettes and trophies must be collected on the day.

Venue:

1.  This is a busy equestrian centre. Keep all dogs on lead (except on exercise area or when competing).

2.  Exercise area: only ONE dog off lead per handler, and do not let dogs off lead that are not reliable around livestock! Handlers not cleaning up after their dogs will be asked to leave the show.

3.  Due to limited space at the venue, ONLY dogs entered for competition at the show may be brought inside the indoor arena. Please keep other dogs outside.

4.  Dogs are not allowed in the café or the seated gallery inside the venue.

Directions to the Venue:

·  Leave the M54 at Junction 3 and turn south on the A41 (signposted Wolverhampton).

·  After approximately 3 miles, turn left into County Lane (brown sign with "Kingswood Equestrian Centre" on it in white at the turn).

·  Caution - narrow lane!

·  The venue is about 100 yards on the right along this lane.

Please drive very slowly into the venue, and park where indicated by our stewards.
