Purpose of Job

The purpose of this role is to act as Technical and TestingBusiness Analyst for Cheque and Credit Clearing Company (C&CCC)

Main Activities and Responsibilities

  • Technically and critically impact assess all change requests
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence internal and external bodies at alllevels
  • Work with Suppliers and Participants to manage change schedules and maintenance releases
  • Ensure Supplier and Participant compliance with Process and Policy Documentation and to support new Participants with technical on boarding which will include facilitation of testing
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive test plans and undertake testing, including identification of new tests to ensure resilience of the Image Clearing System and BI Tool
  • Identify and raise any new risks to the C&CCC Scheme using your technical knowledge. Effectively monitor and mitigate technical risks at a process level.
  • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the ICS scheme, to enable reference to key documents and any related updates needed in line with change.
  • Work with other Payment Schemes e.g. Bacs, CHAPS, and FPS to identify joint or common approaches for Participants and/orSuppliers.
  • Experience of working with different departments and organisations whilstensuring adherence to relevant data protection and privacyrules
  • Results orientated with evidence of undertaking process improvementactivities
  • Strong communication skills including presentational skills and report writing.

Other duties

  • Attend Scheme / supplier meetings relating to Change Management,Problem Management and ServiceDelivery.
  • Other duties and tasks e.g mini projects, that the job holder may be required toundertake or assist otherswith outside of ICS which support C&CCC
  • Manage the technical standards that are in place for Image and Data quality.

Scope

  • Member of the ICS Operations team, reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Internal Contacts – All Cheque and CreditColleagues
  • External Contacts – Scheme Participants, VocaLink, Bank of England, and other Payment Schemes.
  • London based but required to travel on occasion withinUK

Job Specific Competencies:
Excellent working knowledge of payment industry and financial services. Experience of working in a similar environment within the payments or financial service industry is essential.
