1.The group comprises of:

§  Ulster Bank Commercial Services, Dublin.

2. There has been a new contributor to the time series since the fourth quarter of 2003. However, data for quarters prior to this date have not been included because of issues of transparency. Consequently, the growth rates published on page 5 have been enhanced by the entrance of the new contributor to the time series.

3. Data on the average number of debtor days outstanding for factoring and discounting clients have not been published since not all contributors are currently able to supply this information.
