§  Your Students will be moving through the contest site very close to other groups performing on stage and in the sight reading room. Please speak to your students in advance about the importance of etiquette during your visit. We want to ensure that all groups have equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities with minimum distractions. Please forward the following guidelines to your organization:

§  At Alief Taylor, Students in the Holding Area need to keep the noise level to a minimum, as the wall between the Choir Room and Band Hall (Warm Up) is not as sound-proof as we’d like.

§  Absolutely no food or drinks in any of the rehearsal or holding areas. Food and drinks should be consumed in the tiled hallway only.

§  Adult chaperones should watch your students as you are checking in and picking up your ratings from the contest office.

§  There may be NO recording devices or cameras in the Sight Reading Room. Please let your staff and parents know they may NOT have a cell phone out during the sight reading process.

·  Schedule

Mr. Fassino is in charge of all scheduling. Please do not contact me with regards to schedule. These requests must go through Mr. Fassino.
