PAGEANT INFORMATION AND AGE DIVISIONS

The Pageant is divided into nine divisions with a winner, a 1st and 2nd runner-up

in each division. The Queen will receive a beautiful rhinestone crown and banner. Runner-ups will receive a banner in recognition of their achievement. All Queens will represent Tyrone in the Founders Day Parade on Saturday, September 18, 2010 and other events throughout their reign. You will need to furnish your own signs and car for the parade. All Queens will be asked to return to crown the new Queens the following year.

Baby Miss (0 – 23 Months Old)

Tiny Miss (2 – 3 Years Old)

Little Miss (4 – 6 years Old)

Petite Miss (7 – 9 Years Old)

Pre-Teen Miss (10 – 12 Years Old)

Junior Teen Miss (13 – 14 Years Old)

Teen Miss (15 – 16 Years Old)

Miss (17 – 18 Years Old)

Elite Miss (19 and up)

Must have 3 registered in each Age Division or Optionalsand Beauty Divisions may be combined. There will be a 30 day grace period on the age divisions.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

Most Beautiful, Best Dressed, Prettiest Hair and Prettiest Smile. A winner will be chosen in each category in each age division. Winners will receive a banner and crown.

PHOTOGENIC

This is an optional event. Your photograph may be B & W or Color. It may also be a head shot or a full body shot. No larger than a 8 ½ x 11. Please no frames and Photos must be labeled with the contestants name and age division.

DO NOT MAIL PHOTOS! BRING PHOTOS TO REGISTRATION.

APPLICATION FEE

The $60.00 Registration Fee must be included with your application. The balance may be paid the day of the pageant in CASH ONLY!

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Deadline for Applications is Saturday, September 4, 2010. Late Applications will be accepted from Sunday, September 5th – Friday, September 10th with a $10.00 late fee. .

REGISTRATION

The Registration for the 2:00 pm pageant will be from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. Remember to bring your photos marked with the contestants name and age division. All photos must be turned in by 1:45 pm or 3:45 pm depending on which pageant you are participating in. Photos will be judged before the pageant begins. The Registration for the 4:00 pm pageant will be from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm.

CASH ONLY WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR!

ADMISSION

$5.00 per person. One parent will be admitted free with each paid contestant. Children under the age of 5 will be admitted free.

ADDITIONAL PAGEANT INFORMATION

There is no talent or swimsuit competition. Girls in the Baby through the Petite Miss Divisions may wear a Sunday dress, flower girl style dress or a pageant style dress. All other divisions will need to wear a semi-formal, formal style dress or pageant dress. Please remember that make-up should enhance your child’s beauty. Please keep your child looking age appropriate. Each contestant will be judged on poise, beauty, and overall impression.

ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

MISS TYRONE SWEETHEART PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

There will be two People’s Choice Award Winners. One winner will be from the 0 – 9 Age Divisions and one will be from the 10 years and up Age Divisions. Anyone attending the pageant will be able to cast votes by ballot for $1.00 per vote to choose their favorite contestant. Look for a ballot sheet at the registration table. This award does not impact the judges’ decisions. Winners will receive a beautiful crown.

REHEARSAL

There will be no formal rehearsal but girls may practice on stage on Sunday immediately before the 2:00 and 4:00 pageants begin. There will be someone there to help you with any questions that you may have.

Georgia Beauty Pageants, the Tyrone Founders Day Committee, City of Tyrone or anyone associated with this pageant are not responsible for any accident or injury to persons or personal items during the pageant.
