Section 1 Stallions/Colts to be Graded, minimum age 3 years £280.00 + £56.00 VAT = £336.00
Section 2 Mares/Fillies 3 years old or over £125.00 + £25.00 VAT = £150.00
Section 3 Re-grading: see current grading rules £100.00 + £20.00 VAT = £120.00
Section 4 BSJA Assessment only (please indicate loose or ridden) £100.00 + £20.00 VAT = £120.00
Section 5* Stallions not meeting criteria as per Grading Guidelines £430.00 + £86.00 VAT = £516.00
Ridden Assessment Only (for graded stallions not previously assessed under saddle) £30.00 inclusive of VAT at current rate
*(Section 5): Animals not fulfilling the pedigree requirements may be put forward for Grading if, in the opinion of the CHAPS Grading Committee, they have demonstrated (whether by their own exceptional performance, or that of their progeny, or through attaining a First Premium in Youngstock Evaluations) that they are worthy of consideration. Entries close 14 (fourteen) days prior to date of event (Saturday, 24th March 2018) OR before if in receipt of maximum number of entries. However, if the animal is not registered with CHAPS(UK) nor membership in place, closing date is Friday, 16th March 2018. Spaces will be strictly limited and on a first-come first-served basis. Absolutely NO late entries will be accepted. Animals failing to keep a grading appointment without the production of a veterinary or doctor’s certificate will receive no refund of entry fee. The entry is non-transferable
PASSPORTS MUST ACCOMPANY ALL ANIMALS FORWARDED FOR GRADING AS APPLICABLE. Up to date flu vaccinations will be required, copies of the relevant pages from the passport are required with entry and passports will be inspected on arrival. All animals must be microchipped.
Postal Orders or Cheques, made payable to CHAPS(UK) as appropriate, MUST accompany Entry Form. No applications will be accepted without the correct and cleared fees. BACS is available: please contact Admin for details. There will be an additional fee of £30.00 for a DNA sample to be taken should the stallion/mare pass and there is no previous DNA sample on file available for parentage testing.
Exhibitors are reminded to read the Grading Rules thoroughly and that by signing the entry form they declare all information to be correct to the best of their knowledge and belief. Also, that it is a condition of entry that no liability whatsoever is accepted by CHAPS(UK), its Judges and Officials for any accident, injury or damage to animals, vehicles, equipment or persons connected with the Grading. Additionally, CHAPS(UK) are not liable for any loss of value to the animals or loss of income either hypothetical or actual arising out of the decision of the Judges or Veterinary Surgeon at this Grading. Signing of entry form also constitutes agreement to abide by the Grading Rules of CHAPS(UK)and to accept that the Judges’/Veterinary Surgeons’ decision is FINAL. Any letter of complaint will only be considered when accompanied by a deposit of £150 and submitted at the time of Grading. If the complaint is upheld this deposit will be refunded.
