When: Open to all players who are current US Chess Members or interested in playing
Where: Texas A&M University Kingsville, Texas – Student Union Bldg. 1505 W. Santa Gertrudis, Kingsville, TX 2nd floor
First Round starts At 10 am. Others to follow asap Swiss Sys pairing program
Two sections: 4 rounds-SS, G/60 SD (5 sec delay) Open section--and (non-member, non-rated) section. TD reserves right to reduce rds or combine sections as needed.
USCF current membership required, prizes awarded asap end of last rd.
Open section FIRST PRIZE $50.00 AND SECOND PRIZE $30 AND THIRD PRIZE $20 for open section based on 14 entries . Must play all rounds (unless assigned a bye automatically for pairing purposes) to be eligible for prizes. Entries will not be complete without required funds.
Non Member section Entry fee --$5 Top 8 places—medals. On-site will be $10 for this section.
On-site registration requires ½ pt bye for first rd and Entry Fee will be $20 Only Byes requested before end of first rd will be honored. First requested bye is ½ pt, all others 0 pt. onsite registration 10 am to 10:30. Check in 9:30
Entry Fee: $10 for rated player must present current uscf membership proof if registering onsite. Entry must be received by 5 pm June 17 to avoid onsite fees and bye. $5 for non-member non-rated player
