Two papers recently posted early season stats and we are so proud that Leffew Fastpitch Pitchers are so apparent!! In the Lorain Journal 7 of our pitchers led in ERA and STRKEOUTS: MADI SPATARO, MAGGIE HOFFMAN, SYDNEY CAMPELL, LAUREN SHAW, MADI O'BERG, BRI RIVAS and LAUREN LANDERS!! The Medina Gazette posted5 more of our pitchers leading in ERA and STRIKEOUTS: CATHERINE STOSSEL, CAITLYN DUNLAP, SARA KEATING, BAILEY SCHECK, and HANNA BARCO!!
SYDNEY CAMPBELL tossed a PERFECT GAME against Brookside for Keystone!! The sophomore STRUCK OUT 14 of the 15 batters she faced!! Keystone is now 7-0!
ASHLEY STRAUSS got her first win as a freshman for Firelands!! She goes 11 INNINGS, tosses a 2 HITTER with 14 STRIKEOUTS!! She also led the offense with 3 HITS with a 2 RUN HOME RUN!!KAYLA WHITMER took the OUCH LOSSfor Buckeye also going 11 innings with 11 STRIKEOUTS!!
MORGAN SAMPSEL is enjoying her senior year for Norwayne as they are now 6-0!! She tossed a 3 HIT SHUTOUT over Rittman with 16 STRIKEOUTS!!
KAYLA KIPPES tossed a 3 HITTER for Olmsted Falls over Lakewood with 11 STRIKEOUTS!!The freshmanhelped herself out going 2 for 3 with 3 RBI'S!!
MARISSA BOWSER and Clearview dominated Lutheran West 23-1!! She got the win and added 4 HITS!!
MADI SPATARO is now 3-0 for Amherst as they won their 6th game over Avon Lake 19-8!! She was helped by their other pitcher MADI OBERG who blasted a 2RUN HOME RUN!!
