TWO ACCUSED INVOLVED IN KIDNAPPING AND MURDER ARRESTED.

INTRODUCTION:-

In a swift and sleek operation, a team of South-Eastern Range of Crime Branch led by Inspr Sunil Kumar comprising of SIs Ravinder Teotia, Ravinder Verma, HCs Vikram Dutt, Ieed Mohd., Cts Surender, Rakesh, Devender, Kusum Pal under the supervision of ACP Raja Ram and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh has arrested two persons involved in a kidnapping-cum-murder case of PS Govindpuri. The victim was taken to UP by accused persons on the pretext of attending a marriage ceremony at Bulandshahar, UP.

INCIDENT:

On 18.12.2013, Ashif s/o Islam r/o Bulandshahar reported that his younger brother Danish went to Khurza, Bulandshahar on 15.11.2013 to attend a marriage ceremony alongwith Shahnawaz, Shakir, Vakil and Alim and since then he is missing. On 20.11.2013, he lodged a missing report at PS Govindpuri. He alongwith his family members were searching for Danish and in the meantime, on 30.11.2013, he came to know that dead body of Danish has been recovered on 17.11.2013 in the area of PS Sikandrabad, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP. He suspected Shahnawaz, Shakir, Vakil and Alim behind the kidnapping and murder of Danish. Accordingly, on the complaint of Ashif, a case vide FIR No.937/13 dated 18.12.2013 u/s 302/201 IPC was registered at PS Govindpuri and investigations were taken up by local police.

OPERATION:-

During investigation, it was revealed that Sajid @ Chand and Mohd. Sakir alongwith their associates has kidnapped and murder of victim Danish. A team of SER, Crime Branch was working on getting leads about the criminals involved in this gruesome kidnapping and murder, but the accused were cautious enough and were continuously changing their hideouts and locations. After careful surveillance, breakthrough came on 14.01.2014, when specific information was received that Sajid @ Chand and Mohd. Sakir, involved in this crime would be coming near bank gate, Okhla Sabzi Mandi to meet their accomplices. A trap was laid and at the instance of the informer, both Sajid @ Chand and Mohd. Sakir were apprehended.

INTERROGATION:-

The accused were subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused Shahnawaz had an old enmity with deceased Danish. In the year 2011, father of accused Shahnazwaz died under suspicious circumstances. Family members of Shahnawaz held Danish and his family members responsible for their father’s death. Shahnawaz was looking for an opportune moment to take revenge from Danish and his family. He roped in Sajid @ Chand, Sakir and Alim in his nefarious planning to eliminate Danish. On the fateful day on 15.11.2013, Shahnawaz alongwith his associates Sajid @ Chand and Sakir took Danish alongwith them on the pretext of attending a marriage ceremony and on the way to Sikandarabad, near village Bilsuri, GT Road, UP, they stabbed Danish repeatedly and dumped his body on the road side.

On 17.11.2013, dead body of Danish was recovered by Sikandarabad, UP police and was cremated as an unidentified body. Later on, family members of the victim identified photo and other belongings as of Danish in the police station. Post Mortem Report revealed that the victim had sustained 54 stabbed injuries on his body.

PROFILE:-

  1. Sajid @ Chand is an illiterate. He is a vegetable vendor in Okhla subzi mandi. He is unmarried and is previously not involved in any case.
  2. Sakir has studied upto 8th standard. He is a vegetable vendor in Okhla subzi mandi. He is unmarried and also is previously not involved in any case.

Concerned police have been informed. Further investigation is underway.

INTERSTATE GANG OF ROBBERS/DACOITS BUSTED, SEVEN ARRESTED

North West District has busted an interstate gang of dacoits and robbers with the arrest of seven criminals namely Vikram @ Vicky, Dharampal @ Munna, Rohit Dhawan, Rajiv, Sonu, Satender and Deepak who have committed sensational dacoity of Rs. 78 lacs in the jurisdiction of PS Maurya Enclave. Some of the accused were also found involved in number of heinous cases of robbery, kidnapping, murder etc. in the area of Delhi and U.P.

A case of dacoity was registered in the PS Maurya Enclave in which Rupees 78 lacs were looted by these criminals from one of the employee of a businessman, resident of Pitam Pura. The incident took place just in front of the house of the businessman as the employee was taking out the bag containing the money from diggy of the car. Four accused surrounded him and at the point of pistol, robbed the amount and escaped on Motor Cycle and a car. As the case was on the eve of 31st December, 2013 and of serious nature, the North West District formed several teams to identify the criminals and to apprehend them. Inspr. Anil Kumar, SHO Jahangir Puri alongwith his staff from that police station itself was also drafted to help in detection of this case. Similarly, a team of SHO Maurya Enclave Inspr. Sanjay Kumar in whose jurisdiction the incident took place, was also put on the job under the overall supervision of Sh. Deepak Yadav, ACP Saraswati Vihar.

On sustained investigation and intelligence gathered, it was found that one of the employees of the businessman Rohit Dhawan had infact passed the information of movement of such money to the main criminals who are professional robbers. After sustained interrogation, the team of both the SHOs, especially SHO/Jahangir Puri, were able to identify the gang who actually committed this crime.

One Vikram @ Vicky who is a notorious criminal and operating in UP alongwith Dharampal @ Munna and others like Gulshan, Satender, Dharemender, Akash, Deepak and Rahul committed this crime. They used a Maruti Swift car and two Motor Cycles in commission of this crime. So far seven persons involved in this crime including Vikram @ Vicky and Dharampal @ Munna have been arrested. Some of the robbed amount and a Maruti Swift Car and a Motor Cycle, which were used in this crime, have also been recovered at the instance of the main accused. Some of the accused are also wanted in Bagpat and Hapur Districts of UP in cases of murder, robbery and kidnapping for ransom etc. UP police have been notified about these criminals.

The police officials who were instrumental in detection of this case are being suitably rewarded.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

Keeping in view the increasing incidents of thefts in the area Inspector Shalender Tomar/SHO Moti Nagar was tasked to collect intelligence about the gang indulging in committing theft. During the evening patrolling on 14.1.2014 HC Sita Ram No. 182/W alongwith Ct Manoj Kumar Gupta No. 3274/W apprehended one person who was identified as Raju Pal S/o Bhagirath Pal R/o B-124 Gurjar Ka Makan Gali No. 18 Khajuri Khas Delhi-94. On conducting further checking of his bag 06 stereos and one pen drive were recovered.

INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI

On sustained interrogation he disclosed that he belongs to Darbhanga Bihar. He arrived in Delhi 5 years ago and started working as labourer. After sometime, he started taking drugs and indulged in committing crimes. He came in contact with Saleem near ISBT who gave him tips for committing thefts of stereos from the cars. Taking advantage of the fog and severe cold, he alongwith Saleem came to Moti Nagar area stole the stereos after breaking glasses of the car.

One Car Battery & One tyre stolen in Case FIR No. 51/14 dated13/1/14 u/s 379/411/34 IPC PS Tilak Nagar, Delhi.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST

In the recent past, several incidents of battery, stereo & tyre theft were reported in the area of West Delhi. In order to prevent these incidents and nab the criminals involved in these cases, a team comprising HC Ved Prakash-599/W, Ct Suresh Kumar No-3025/W, Ct Ombir Singh No-708/W, Ct Bijender No-3220/W under the supervision of Inspr. Jitender Malik, SHO/Tilak Nagar & overall supervision of Sh. Vinit Kumar, ACP/Tilak Nagar was formed to collect information and bust the racket involved in such incidents. The team so formed worked relentlessly and collected details of several criminals with similar modus operandi and activated their secret informers to collect the information about the rackets involved in these battery & tyre theft cases.

The hard work of team bore fruit on the intervening night of 13/14.01.2014. An information was received through reliable source to HC Ved Prakash-599/W that one Roshan Singh along with his associate Baljeet Singh & Agaypal Singh @ Bittoo are actively involved in battery, tyre theft will come to Kabuli Chowk, Near 20 block Gurudwara, Tilak Nagar for committing crime. The team laid a trap and apprehended the accused person Roshan Singh along with his associate Baljeet Singh & Agaypal Singh @ Bittoo red handed along with stolen articles and recovered one battery of a Maruti Van & tyre at their instance. Further investigation of the case is in progress.

INCIDENT AND OPERATION.

Accused Manish @ Butlar S/o Raju R/o H. No. 104 B- Block JJ colony Bawana aged 33 Yrs. was lodged in Central Jail No. 1 Tihar Jail in case FIR No. 280/10 U/s 326/34 IPC, PS Kotwali, Delhi. On 25.05.2012, he along with another jail inmate Manoj S/o Sarda Parsad, R/o CJ No. 1 Tihar Jail saw one Parmod S/o Madan lal, R/o C.J. No. 1 Tihar Jail in Jail Park. They were having old rivalry with him. Finding it to be appropriate time to settle old enmity, both attacked Pramod and caused him serious injuries with some sharp objects. Accused Manoj was arrested but Manish @ Butlar, S/o Raju was bailed out in Kotwali case and went out of Tihar Jail and since then he was intentionally evading his arrest, hence could not be arrested in present case i.e. case FIR No. 192/12 U/s 326/34 IPC PS Hari Nagar. Later on he was declared Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court.

TEAM_& ARREST

Insp. Bhaskar Sharma, SHO/Hari Nagar has constituted a team to arrest Proclaimed Offenders of PS Hari Nagar comprising HC Vikrant No. 347/W and Ct. Dayal Singh 2873/W under close supervision of ACP/Tilak Nagar, Shri Vinit Kumar. On 14.01.14, HC Vikrant has received secret information that accused Manish is hiding himself in a “Nasha Mukti Kendra” Tuglkabad Ext. Kalkaji. Immediately, the team conducted the raid and arrested accused Manish in case FIR No. 192/12 dated 28.05.12 u/s 326 IPC PS Hari Nagar, Delhi.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On dated 14/01/2014 a secret information was received through Ct Devinder Singh No. 2932/W (Beat Officer of PS Vikas Puri) that one lady namely Santosh (B.C. of P.S. Vikas Puri) is selling illicit liquor near Jhuggi of Indra Camp No. 5, Vikas Puri. On receipt of the information a team was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Rakesh Tyagi SHO Vikas Puri, SI Johnson Jacob, SI Rajesh Kumar and HC Virender No.226/W and raid was conducted at the spot i.e. Jhuggi Indra Camp No.5 near Gali Kamal Public School, Vikas Puri. On the instance of the informer, Santosh W/o Nemi Chand was arrested and illicit liquor was seized from her possession. A case vide FIR No 15/14 dated 14.1.14 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act was registered in Police Station Vikas Puri and investigation was taken up by local police.

MURDER CASE CRACKED WITHIN 24 HOURS

The staff of Police Station Khyala, West District has done excellent work by solving a blind murder case within 24 hours and arresting three accused persons namely, (1) Sunil @ Sonu @ Dhancha (2) Kalim (3) Shubhan khan and apprehending two juveniles near 830 bus stand Khyala Delhi. Weapon of offence i.e. a kitchen knife has been recovered at the instance of the accused.

INCIDENT AND INVESTIGATION

On 14.01.14, complainant Sh. Bhushan Kumar S/o Sh. Rajender R/o WZ-283/41, Vishnu Garden, Delhi reported that he is working in General Store of Mr. Om Prakash Yadav situated near 830 Bus Stand. On 13.01.2014 at about 9.30 P.M., he was standing alongwith Mr. Omprakash infront of his General Store. In the meantime, a hot argument started between one juvenile and few other persons namely, Sanjay and Vicky on the issue that while juvenile was carrying beer bottle he was touched by Sanjay & Vicky which was not liked by him (juvenile). Then juvenile was beaten up by them. Immediately the juvenile called his associates including his brother and friends namely, Kalim, Sonu @ Dhancha, Subhan Khan and some other who started pelting stones, bricks and bottles. Complainant, Bhushan and Omprakash ran away from the spot but they were chased by the assailants and caught by them. In the fit of anger, Harish stabbed Bhushan and Omparkash with a kitchen knife with the intention to kill them and fled from the spot. Injured Bhushan Kumar was admitted in DDU Hospital and Omprakash was admitted in Action Balaji Hospital by their relatives. A case FIR No.23/14 u/s 307/34 IPC PS Khyala was registered and investigation was taken up by SI Yad Ram Yadav.

During the course of investigation, intelligence was gathered from secret informer and a team consisting of SI Anand Prakash, SI Yadram, Ct. Rakesh 1844/W, Lajpat No. 1077/W, Hari Prakash 2337/W Ct. Vijender no. 2151/W under the supervision of SHO/Khayala Inspr. Tanvir Ashraf and overall supervision of ACP/Rajouri Garden, Dr. Eish Singhal, IPS was constituted to gather information about the identity of the assailants. However, Om Parkash succumbed to his injuries at Action Balaji Hospital at about 9.30 A.M. on 14.01.14 hence section 302 IPC was added in the case and investigation was transferred to Inspr. Yash Pal, Inspr. Investigtion, PS Khyala.

Many raids were conducted at various places to locate the accused. Sources were also deployed and intelligence were collected. In the meanwhile, it came to light that there were two eye witnesses of the incident which helped in ascertaining the identity of the accused. On secret information and relentless efforts of the team, three accused persons were arrested and two minors were apprehended near 830 Bus stop Khyala. The weapon used in committing offence has also been recovered.
