Scholarship Application

It is a goal of the Teton Valley Ski Education Foundation to provide every child who is interested in joining the ski team, and who also has the skills/ability to participate at the required level, with the opportunity to join. Applicants should demonstrate a need for assistance, a strong desire to participate, and a strong overall work ethic.

TVSEF Tuition Scholarship Program

•Maximum scholarship amount is 1/2 of program fees.

•Returning athletes and new athletes are both eligible

•All decisions to award scholarships are final and shall be made at the sole discretion of the TVSEF Board

•Work deposits are not available for scholarship

Distribution of Funds

•Scholarship funds are applied directly to TVSEF tuition/program fees

Eligibility Requirements

•Considerations in this process include but are not limited to: financial need, past membership on the team, attitude and behavior of the athlete

•Consideration given to multiple athletes on team from the same family

•Athlete and/or their family is responsible for 12 hours of volunteer work with the team per scholarship

•All other team requirements apply

•Award recipients will be required to pay entrance fees for any and all competition events in which they choose to compete

•Award recipients will be required to pay all of their own travel costs according to team guidelines if they choose to participate in any team events that require travel

TVSEF has limited scholarship funds each season. In order to include as many athletes as possible, we ask that all applicants pay a portion of program fees.
