State-of-the-art: newinverter air-water pump from Stiebel Eltron

Seven sets, the most favourable solution for an inverter heat pump heating system: the new air-water pump series WPL Trend from Stiebel Eltron. The appliances are ideal for use in detached and semi-detached houses. Thanks to the invertertechnology with very high levels of efficiency and a highly attractive price in this segment. The house owner, planner or professional tradesman can basically choose a complete set: in addition to the heat pump which is installed outside and which is available in different ratings, the set also always includes an internal module. The control unit, emergency/booster heater, switchover to hot water heating, circulation pump and the hydraulic connection options for the heating circuit or buffer cylinder and hot water cylinder are all housed here. Perfectly compatible componentsensure easy installation and smooth and efficient operation.

The entire casing of the WPL Trend is made from EPP (expanded polypropylene) which significantly reduces the weight of the appliance, thereby simplifying transport and installation. The refrigerant circuit and evaporator are arranged one above the other so that the heat pump, by contrast with other appliances, takes up very little space, but is nevertheless fractionally higher. The internal module is connected hydraulically, with no need to handle refrigerants during the entire installation of the system.

The WPL 8, 12, 16, 22 and 28 Trend provide their greatest thermal output at A-7/W35: 4.61, 6.18, 8.43, 10.99 and 12.45 kW. All appliances have the A++ label as per the ERP which would correspond to an A+++ rating as from September 2019. Thanks to the inverter control unit, the very quiet running heat pump always adapts its output to the demand for energy from the house. The WPL Trend also offers the option of active cooling by reversing the circuit.
